Classic Game Room season 1 - December 15, 1999. The boys at CGR review the Playstation 1 PS1 remake of the classic arcade hit, ASTEROIDS, which can now be played on a PS3 Playstation 3. Published by ACTIVISION, this old school remake of the older school coin-op classic from 1979 is an interesting remake and take on the Asteroids concept. An early Game Room episode, this is one of the really old-school century offerings from December 1999 before they even had a green screen. Classic Game Room was the first classic video game review show on the Internet, and one of the first (maybe the first) video game review show of all times produced specifically for the Internet.
Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.
