Classic Game Room HD reviews Matchmaker for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console, the MICROprocessor!! This classic game from 1978 is a lot like the card game, Memory. Remember memory? No? Is that space in your brain full of rap lyrics and drink mixing recipes? Me too. However I can still remember which square has a sailboat and which has a tree (sometimes).
Matchmaker is very similar to the Atari 2600 games "A Game of Concentration" and "Memory Match". Actually those are both the same game, Memory Match is a Sears Tele-Games release. Match Maker comes on the same cart as Logix! and Buzzword! for the Magnavox O2. It's a fun game where you are times by the O2 and challenge yourself or a friend. Instead of using a joystick or add-on accessory players use the full size keyboard on the Odyssey 2. Classic Game Room is the retro reviewer reviewing Magnavox Odyssey 2 and Atari 2600 games with respect. We love old games and new games.
